Bring lively learning experiences to mid-south residents! Learn new things!
As a volunteer for the museum, you will meet people from all over and learn more about history, science and nature. You will help others and gain new skills. Training, invitations to special events, and discounts in the gift shops are some volunteer perks. You can also earn individual and family memberships as you increase your hours of service.
For 75 years we have provided our visitors with educational experiences to enhance their lives. We would love for YOU to be a part of that “never ending discovery.”
PRIME OPPORTUNITIES FOR WEEKDAY MORNINGS AND WEEKENDS
RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS NOW FOR:
“Treasure” Exhibit (May 24- Sept. 7)
Train Wednesday, May 21, 6 – 9 p.m. or Thursday, May 22 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon to help visitors explore the history of treasures and treasure hunting.
Planetarium Ushers needed to take tickets and seat visitors. Enthusiastic volunteers good with the public can signup for a volunteer orientation on Friday, June 6, 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Pink Palace Imax Discovery Room
Be a part of two exciting films showing in IMAX® (Sea Monsters and Roving Mars) by assisting families with hands-on activities in the Discovery Room related to these two films. Volunteers needed Wednesdays, Fridays, and some weekend days. Train Wednesday, June 25, 3-5 p.m.
