The Pink Palace Crafts Fair is sponsored by the Friends of the Pink Palace Museum with all proceeds benefiting the Memphis Museum System.

Crafts Fair Application for Traditional and Fine Crafts
The Crafts Fair, a family oriented event held at Audubon Park in the heart of Memphis, Tennessee, is the largest juried arts and crafts fair in the Mid - South area.
On Thursday and Friday from 10 AM until 1 PM, there is a mixture of adult shoppers and school groups. For the remaining hours of operation the visitors are mostly adults or families shopping and enjoying demonstrations by craftsmen and museum staff, entertainment and a variety of delicious commercial foods. Each year merit awards are presented for outstanding works.
Become a Member of the Friends
The Friends of the Pink Palace Museum is a volunteer organization formed in 1968. Our mission statement says we are dedicated to providing volunteers, financial support and enhancement of community awareness of the Memphis Museum System.
The Pink Palace Family of Museums consists of seven facilities:
- The Pink Palace Museum
- Crew Training International IMAX Theater
- Sharpe Planetarium
- Lichterman Nature Center
- Mallory-Neely House
- Magevney House
- Coon Creek Science Center
The diversity of these facilities allows members to participate in a variety of activities.
Meetings
The Friends meet at the Pink Palace Museum on the 4th Tuesday of each month – August through May. For the convenience of our professional members, there are two meetings a year held at night. They are welcome at our day meetings as well. Throughout the year the Friends prepare for several Fundraising Events, including the Pink Palace Crafts Fair which is in its 38th year. Our homemade donuts and the outstanding juried and demonstrating craftsmen make our award-winning Crafts Fair a popular and anticipated community event.
“How much time will I have to volunteer to be a Friend?”
Not as much as you think! We’re sure that we have several opportunities that will interest you. Everyone has an expertise in some area - cooking, organizing or decorating for a party, preparing for a plant sale, getting donations or sponsors, helping with mailings, docents, working special events, volunteering in the museums, helping with an auction and much more.
