Forthcoming Book on Dick Bodine

A book manuscript is nearing completion on the history of the Bodine Company and the Bodine School. The Bodines and author David Yawn are currently considering various publishers for the thorough 9-chapter work that covers the entire history of the company, the school and also Mr. Dick Bodine's own memoir -- all combined into a cohesive and interesting narrative.  This company grew out of a backyard business into one that became THE NAME in emergency lighting worldwide.  Recently, it was purchased by Philips Electronics of the Netherlands.  The Bodine Co. continues to serve as a longtime benefactor for certain worthwhile community educational interests.
