Pink Palace Crafts Fair

Volunteer and receive a free Crafts Fair t-shirt and free admission for the day!

Come out and volunteer at one of the best outdoor volunteer events in the city.  The Pink Palace Crafts Fair is the largest fundraising event for the Memphis Pink Palace Family of Museums. The dates are Friday October, 11 through Sunday October 13, 2019. This is a great volunteer event for groups, families, and individuals. Volunteers can sign up for 4-hour shifts and after your shift is over stay and enjoy live music, great food, and a unique shopping experience.

Science of Wine

The Pink Palace Science of Wine 

Friday, August 16/ 5:00pm-10:30pm

This is a great volunteer opportunity for groups, individuals new to the area, date night, girl’s night, boy’s night, or if you would like to learn more about the local wines and restaurants. 

The Science of Wine is an event that supports the museum’s educational programs for children. All of the funds raised from this event will go directly to support educational  programs.

Volunteers must be 21 years and over. Volunteers will assist with wine pouring for tastings, at restaurant food tables, greeting guests, giving directions, crafts area, game area, as runners, VIP floaters, in the lecture area, and with the soda and water stations. Staff and volunteers are not allowed to consume alcohol during the event. If you would like to volunteer for this event please contact Janie Best Paraham @memphistn.gov or 901-636-2430

Gallery Docents

Gallery docents guide museum visitors through our permanent and special exhibits and deliver hands-on educational programs with gallery touch carts  that enhance the visitors experience in the exhibits and promote critical thinking. Training provided for the gallery docent positions. No prior experience needed.
