Scarecrows at Lichterman Nature Center

Scarecrow Displays at Lichterman Nature Center

The Nature Center has teamed up with senior centers, scouts, clubs, classrooms, artists, and others to create scores of scarecrows... life-sized, ecological, green, scary, silly, funny and educational scarecrows.

September 13 through November 16, these scarecrows will be scattered all around Lichterman. Each scarecrow delivers messages ranging from recycling to planting for wildlife. Come see these special scarecrows created by local groups and their friends.
