The Pink Palace Crafts Fair 2020 Virtual Show provide artists a means to promote their craft while also raising funds to support the Museum system. We would love for you to join us as we provide support for artists and raise money to support The Museum of Science and History- Pink Palace. Any donation, no matter the amount, benefits the entire museum system. Please note that a 3% transaction fee is deducted from your donation. We appreciate your support for the excellent programs at the Museum of Science and History properties. Your ongoing support is instrumental as we continue as the premier science and history museum in the region.

Crafts Fair Pop Up Shop

Shop for one-of-a-kind art and handmade crafts from local and regional artists and craftspeople. Brought to you by the Museum and Memphis Modern Market, the Crafts Fair Pop Up Shop features the creations of artists and brands from Memphis and the surrounding areas.  From paintings and home decor to jewelry and candles, we are bringing the best of Memphis makers to you in a socially distanced pop up experience.

Admission to Pop Up Shop is free. Tickets are required to view exhibits and Mansion.

Make & Take Activities

While you're at the Museum, stop by our Make & Take Station for free activities.

Learn about light and color while you make your own cyanotype on paper. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process that produces a cyan-blue print. Engineers used the process well into the 20th century as a simple and low-cost process to produce copies of drawings, referred to as blueprints.

Christmas Tea at The Mallory-Neely House

Enjoy the holiday season sipping a warm cup of tea and building gingerbread houses at the Mallory-Neely House as it hosts a Victorian tea party. There will be a small offering of tea including the Museum’s Historic Properties tea from My Cup of Tea and a tasty assortment of finger food. The first floor of the mansion will be open and decorated in full Christmas regalia. The Carriage House will be set for proper Victorian teatime from 11am to 2pm. There will be a small gift shop table with a variety of tea including My Cup of Tea flavors, coffee, Christmas gift baskets, Museum membership enrollment and more. Come snap a photo with the Christmas tree and other gorgeous decorations while you spend a lovely afternoon at the Mallory-Neely House.

$25 for small table, 3 people or less

$50 for large table, 4 to 6 people

Camp Lichterman Winter Break Camp

Grab your winter coat and gloves and join us at Camp Lichterman for some winter break nature fun! Enjoy winter wildlife watching and nature walks to fit the season. Make your own igloo, snow in a jar and other winter themed STEM activities. Create your own natural crafts inspired by the season. After playing in a foam fantasy snow storm on New Years Eve, sit down by the campfire and warm up with some hot chocolate. Wild winter fun is waiting for you at Camp Lichterman this winter break!

Camp:  9 am – 3 pm

Before Care: 7:30 am – 9 am

After Care: 3 pm – 6 pm

Cost:

$170 – members

$180 – non-members

$25 – before care (all)

$50 – after care (all)

Ratio and Age Group:

Ratio: 1:9 (teacher: camper)

Two Age Groups: K-4 and 5-8

PAID REGISTRATION FORM AND SIGNED COVID WAIVER HOLDS CAMPER SPOT FOR THE WEEK.
