Virtual Field Trips - Pink Palace Museum

PINK PALACE MUSEUM VIRTUAL FIELD TRIPS

Each Virtual Field Trip will include:

Link information to a recorded 30-45 minute lesson that includes demonstrations

for your students, or a live virtual field trip that will show at 9:30 am or 11:00 am.

Call Reservations at 901-636-2362 to schedule your field trip.

Please give at least 48 hours notice when scheduling a field trip. Your materials will be delivered to your school before your planned virtual field trip. You will receive the video link the day before the scheduled field trip.

 

Prices and Materials:

Recorded field trips will be $4.00 per student with a minimum of 10 students.

Live field trips will be $6.00 per student with a minimum of 20 students.

Materials will be included in the cost.

Grades 3-8 History, Culture, and Tennessee History Curriculum Standards

Contrast how the principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence clashed with the treatment of different groups including: women, enslaved people, and Native Americans. Describe the effect of the Great Depression on Tennessee and the impact of the New Deal policies on the state. Hear the stories of eight Memorable Memphians who contributed to our city's rich culture. See medical instruments related to yellow fever, paintings, and the uniform of a WWI soldier as we guide you through Memphis history.
